Hey there, fellow busy people. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by summer’s chaos, I want you to join me in my secret to feeling happy and vibrant every single day over the summer holidays!
A Personal Journey

Last summer, I spent four weeks committed to five simple daily practices. No days off. Something incredible happened: I ended the summer feeling healthy, vibrant, and, most importantly, happy. Instead of counting down the days till school resumed, I found myself wishing the summer could go on – and it can! That’s why I’m sharing these practices with you, hoping to inspire you to join me in being the best version of yourself.
Take Control Together
Raise your hand if screen time has gotten out of hand! 🙋 I’m guilty, too. That’s why I’m taking control this summer, aiming to reclaim valuable hours lost to doom scrolling. Some easy hacks are to turn off notifications, put a time limit on apps and possible the best tip – NO PHONE first thing in the morning, and last thing at night (at least 1 hr). These have the biggest benefits.
A Simple Plan for a Better Summer:
Find happiness and vitality this summer by adding these five tried and tested practices to your day:

1 – Morning Booster
Start your day with a warm drink of lemon and apple cider vinegar. It’s a simple routine that boosts your metabolism, detoxes and cleanses your entire system.
2 – Daily Yoga
Dedicate some time to yoga each day. It helps with flexibility, strength, and calm by connecting movement with breath. Whether it’s a quick 10 minute session or a 60 minute class, there is plenty to choose from in our Video Library.
3 – Screen Time Check
Try to keep screen time under two hours. Consider it an opportunity to engage in other activities and enjoy the moment. Make your bedroom a phone free zone – rest and sleep needs to be your upmost priority! Sleep is a time for cellular regeneration and repair. The body works on repairing damaged cells, tissues, and organs, which helps maintain overall health and prevents age-related degeneration. If you want to stay young – you need good quality sleep – FACT! Get yourself some great books, legs up the wall and turn your bedroom into a sanctuary!
4 – Quick Pilates
Spend just 10 minutes a day (let’s be honest we all have 10 minutes – just check your screen time if you say your too busy!) This little habit brings amazing results. Trust me! This is my secret weapon after 3 kids. You don’t need fancy equipment or expensive studios – just follow along our 10 minute classes. Perfect over the summer where ever you may be.
5 – Nightly Gratitude
Before bed, write down three things you’re grateful for. It’s a small habit that will have a profound effect on how you feel, enhance your sleep, happiness, and overall outlook on life. This will enhance self reflection and fuel personal growth. Even on tough days, reflecting on the positives is a simple way to see life’s hidden blessings. There are many!
